How the calculator works
Choose what you are treating, then type the volume in litres, or pick one of the common sizes. The calculator selects a sensible tablet size and shows how many tablets to use for that volume. Add the tablets to the water, stir gently, and let it stand, since treatment takes about thirty minutes before the water is ready to use. For a larger job, the same figures scale up to a full tank.
Using the dose safely
The amounts shown here follow the Aquatabs dosing chart, and the packaging is always the final guide, so check the pack and follow it for the size you are using. Use the tablet made for drinking water when you are treating water to drink. If the water is very cloudy, filter it through a clean cloth first so the treatment can work properly. We never invent a dose, and where a figure is not certain the honest answer is to see the packaging.
